Re: Remove motor from Simplex gurdy
If the motor Is bolted on a bronze flanged tube that is bolted to the end of the last gurdie stancion their shouldn't be anything other than a woodruf key on the motor shaft stuffed inside a bronze sleeve or coupling......sometimes they stick...work on it ...It'll come loose. If you can get a small ...

Here Is the link to our rule book, I don't know If It will let you link directly off of It from here, so If you highlight/copy & paste It will bring up our complete commercial salmon regulations. Scroll down to page 98 & you'll see the CF wording. Word of mouth has always told me 4 spools wa...

Re: LED lights
I have now changed all my lighting over to LED; cabin, deck, troll pit, forward lights & engine room....the only ones that still remain are the nav. & one fixture In the head. Most of them all came from marinebeam.com. The others are Rigid. I like them both.

Re: Polishing Spoons
I have pondered that In the past myself...I have rinsed them In hot soapy water & dried them quickly before they oxidize. But, when they are used, you toss them In a spoon bucket with hydrotone or anti-freeze....so, I skipped that rinse step some time back.... just wrapped them In paper towels &...

Journey Yes, feed new wire on the gurdie the way It comes off the spool......when the wire twists up like that...replace the blocks they are locking up either occasionally or more often than not. Next time out on the water take the lead off & let the wire out while running, helping It at first u...

Re: Looking for Advice on Twisting Float line
I am a little slow getting this post accomplished, I see you guys have progressed right along.....If I didn't know better I probably would of had a difficult time Imagining what the discussion was concerning the direction the wire needs to come off the spool before heading to the first block. So, I ...
