I am replacing the engine in my 35' double ender. I currently have a Cummins C 160 (160 hp)with a Twin Disc 5050 gear. 1 1/2" shaft, 26 x 16 wheel. This engine has been in the boat for almost 60 years & hard to find parts, plus we've just plain worn it out. I am looking at a Cummins 4BT 150...

I intalled uhmw upper & lower guards 6 years ago. Very happy with them. I've bedded mine w Irish felt on my wood boat. No glue or caulk. No heat was used. You can drill, plane, router & shape just like wood. Very easy to work with. I've no experience w HDPE.

We have 2 25 gallon plastic tanks from fisheries supply, in the boat for about 5 years. We use the water for drinking & dishes (no shower, head is salt water). The 50 gallons we carry lasts a week or more. We were out hunting 2 weeks ago & the weather was @ 16 degrees for days. After the 5th...

My uncle does paintings of Trollers, waterfront scenes, wildlife, etc.. Some are available for viewing at Scanlons in Ketchikan, also at an art store in Petersburg. He also does custom paintings from pictures. His work is excellent. He was a commercial fisherman for years in ak. Does not do email to...
