Kjwelder, as is usual, has a good idea. Why not a thread of troll action shots? I will look through my and mothers collection for "action" shots. Please do the same if you are reading this.

I am going to post some photos here that show salmon being flung aboard by my family members in a way we no longer do. They are action photo's and gaffing and putting salmon aboard is a favorite action shot. Nevertheless I want to clarify that my family no longer "flings" salmon aboard. We "slip" them aboard and our landing stations are set up so we can easily reach out and conk the salmon with the gaff and then slip them aboard into a bleeding and rinsing checker without having to be pulled over gurdies or other obstructions.
