Name that headland game
Name that headland game
Let's see how good people are at identifying places around SE Alaska. Once somebody gets the right answer, feel free to post another picture.
Hopefully this is an easy one to start out.

Re: Name that headland game
Awesome Drew! I have been playing this game by myself for years! Its funny how a little fog or clouds will fool you in pics sometimes also! I am not sure of this one.

Somebody else post a picture.
Re: Name that headland game
Went past there bringing the Adagio down from Sitka in May. That is one big cape..
Re: Name that headland game
I will go for it, we will start with an easy one.
Re: Name that headland game
There are two obvious clues in the photo as to where this might be if you don't recognize it immediately.
Re: Name that headland game
I see this has been viewed thirty five times and no guesses. Here is another clue. This is one of the most productive coho drags in SE Alaska.
Re: Name that headland game
Looks like Lizard head to me..
Re: Name that headland game
No, not Lizard Head. I thought this would be an easy one. Perhaps we should have a new thread, stump the forum.
This is a drag where I took an observer years ago when they paid us to take observers. In the ten days or so with me he saw one king salmon. One of all sizes. One of the cleanest coho drags in the Region.

Re: Name that headland game
If you guys don't recognize this one then I am really disappointed.
Re: Name that headland game
Ok, I throw out some guesses...
Edgecumbe (though I have never trolled there close to the beach), Biorka, and Addington.

Re: Name that headland game
I thought the first pic looked like Ulitca and the second Addington. But probably up near Yakobi.
Re: Name that headland game
Drew, you got one! The second photo with the Rainbow is Biorka I actually thought that would be the toughest. 1 and three still in identified.
Re: Name that headland game
Headed in, nice November day winter king fishing here in Sitka.
Re: Name that headland game
Fish of the day pic!
Re: Name that headland game
Three hill, simons bay biorka, and pt amelia kruzoff
Re: Name that headland game
No, yes, no. And I know you have spent time at all three of these spots.
Re: Name that headland game
For 1 and 3, can you fish there in the winter? Can you fish there in the spring?
