Name that headland game

Post by Drew »

Let's see how good people are at identifying places around SE Alaska. Once somebody gets the right answer, feel free to post another picture.

Hopefully this is an easy one to start out.

Awesome Drew! I have been playing this game by myself for years! Its funny how a little fog or clouds will fool you in pics sometimes also! I am not sure of this one.

There are two obvious clues in the photo as to where this might be if you don't recognize it immediately.

I see this has been viewed thirty five times and no guesses. Here is another clue. This is one of the most productive coho drags in SE Alaska.

No, not Lizard Head. I thought this would be an easy one. Perhaps we should have a new thread, stump the forum.

This is a drag where I took an observer years ago when they paid us to take observers. In the ten days or so with me he saw one king salmon. One of all sizes. One of the cleanest coho drags in the Region.

Ok, I throw out some guesses...

Edgecumbe (though I have never trolled there close to the beach), Biorka, and Addington.

I thought the first pic looked like Ulitca and the second Addington. But probably up near Yakobi.

For 1 and 3, can you fish there in the winter? Can you fish there in the spring?
