Yes, the camera is inside the surf line in both shots.

I am not sure about the spring lines in this area.

Big hint, the camera is within a ten mile radius in both shots.

Salty's picture posted on October 30 looks very similar to a picture I have of Pt. Wimbleton, just to the west of the entrance to Glacier Bay near the Inian Islands. It fits the description of a clean [no King salmon] drag and is very productive for Coho later in the season. As I recall, it can be a real bitch to fish in the currents there during large tide cycles.

Bingo! You win! Wimbledon as you describe it.

Since the camera needs to be within 10 miles of wimbledon and it's supposed to be a famous troll headland, would that make the last one cape Spencer? I haven't ever fished near there before.

Bingo, yes, Spencer from Three Hill.

Wimbledon, Biorka, and Spencer.

Some one else's turn.

This isn't probably considered a headland, but hopefully it is recognizable enough that someone can correctly guess it.

Time is up. Wimbledon, North Inian Pass; Biorka, and Cape Spencer from Three Hill.

That is where Gap Rock is. They say you could fly a float plane through Gap with wings Perpendicular to water.

It's not right at Elfin Cove, I could name some other landmarks closer. I'll see if anyone else takes a guess in the next few days before I pinpoint its location.

Gaff not Gap I misunderstood the name when Kenny told me the Name of the arch on George Island. Went by it many times last summer.

Well this picture was taken right by Astrolabe Bay. So I presume you fellows are right and it's called Gaff Rock. But I forgot that detail. I just think "Astrolabe Bay" when I see that picture.

Here's another one. A good clue is the orientations of my boat and the other boat in the picture. Good luck!

Didn't there use to be a light on Harris? I don't see it.
