Marilyn and Eric Jordan Collection Boats
Re: Marilyn and Eric Jordan Collection Boats
Thanks for the nice comments on the pictures.
Here is what I do to post them.
1. Take a lot of pictures with my digital camera
2. Download them to my computer in folders by date.
3. Go through and edit in Picasa 3 ( a free and easy photo editing program from google) the ones I like and store them in my boats file.
i) in picasa I go through three steps
1) Straighten
2) Crop
3) Adjust the contrast, color, highlights, and then usually sharpen it a bit.
4. Then I start fooling around with all the fun Picasa special effects and see how the particular picture looks. If I like it I save it to my Boats, or another folder, and then, if I want to post it to the forum, I export it in the size (480 pixels) the forum likes for uploading.
5. Then I go to the forum, pick the thread where the picture best fits, upload attachment, then place inline, preview, and if it looks good I submit it.
Would love to see your great pictures posted here also.

Fooling around with my pics a bit as I put together an album for a friend. Kind of liked this one.
Re: Marilyn and Eric Jordan Collection Boats
Was working on my pictures for another project and thought I might share some. This one is on the Highliner Mugs at the Highliner Cafe here in Sitka.
Re: Marilyn and Eric Jordan Collection Boats
This is a good example of a SE wooden troller with bow poles.
