Thanks for the video. I really enjoyed it. Boy did those triggers working look good. I have never seen pictures of tuna hauling like that. I have to get a good digital video camera. Lots of times I wished I had a good video of when the boys were hauling gear about 15 years ago now.
Of course all different now with the gear setters, don't have to pick up the hooks or flashers anymore.

I talked to the people who put that video on YouTube he owned the ALEUTAN from 1985 to 2007.He said get the Zincs right she will catch fish!

Hello, I am new to this forum( first post). A former deckhand on trollers here on BC's west coast. Still interested in the industry and try to keep up on it by reading everything I can find on fishing and trolling in particular, so I do recognize a few names on the forum - Hello Salty. Anyways I found a couple of pictures of the Aleutian on the City of Richmond BC Archives web site. A hobby photographer donated his collection of fish boat photos to the city. Its a very extensive list so if you have an old canadian boat it is worth checking out.
