Fishing Vessel Drill Conductor Training - Juneau

Post by ata »

Hi All:

This course satisfies a requirement in the new USCG package of safety rules. Regs aren't final yet, but we expect to see a public comment period any day, so get ready to write. In the meantime, regardless the requirement, everyone I've talked that's taken this course says it's worthwhile. You get a reduced rate right now, due to a scholarship program for commercial fishermen. Was hoping to take it this round myself, but timing is off. Hopefully a few of you will take the opportunity to brush up your emergency skills - hope for the best, plan for the worst!

Safety First!
