Gives you an idea about what the Legislature is up to in degrading salmon habitat protections, and that the public is outraged.

Re: Alaska House Bill 77 story
Next Tuesday on Talk of Alaska HB77 will be the topic,it should be an interesting show.
Why should you give a hoot? The original bill almost past during the 2013 legislative session,it was sidetracked by one vote(the coastal coalition).Yeah its being revised but when you only have to pick up one vote.A little horse trading here or there and we could end up with a piece of garbage bill. Its the kinda thing that destroys habit incrementally.I don't want to see Alaska turn into Washington where their troll fleet is remnant of where it was.
Where's ATA at on this Dale?

John,
We are organizing to support the few Republicans, like those in the Coastal Coalition, who are opposing this. We need Republicans like Senator Bert Stedman because we don't have enough Democrats left in the legislature to block these kinds of things.
