Thru Hull to pump hose rcommendations

Post by mattakfish »

Anyone have a favorite, heavy-duty hose they recommend for a 1-1/2 inch thru-hull to a 12V Jabsco 3800 washdown/utility pump? It will be a fairly short section, maybe 3 foot,,,,,and I'd like it to be wire reinforced to withstand pump pressure and heat near engine. Shields? Trident? Others?

You in Juneau? Go see Maritime Hydraulics at their warehouse across the street from Alaskan Brewing. They stock the bellows-Flex wire-reinforced hose in that size and have the nice band-clamps that use a bolt instead of the usual worm-screw hose-clamps. Their prices are good too.

Thanks! I was thinking of going with bellowsflex too. In Petersburg and can get it here....but Maritime Hydraulics is great, always very helpful.
