Hasbra Gurdy Valves?

Post by F/V Spike »

Installing 2 spool Hasbras and notice there are three ports on the valves. Two are male and the third is the one I am curious about. It looks to be a 1/2 inch female. What does that plumb to? Any help? Thanks!

Well took some shots, but having a hard time uploading. Not too sure about how to make my images public per the board rules. I found a pic from another post and used it. If you look at the valve there is a port at the very bottom of the page and one on the right side of the valve. On the back side of the housing there is a female port. These are the three I am talking about. Thanks again.

Sorry but can't see it clearly. I am guessing it is either a bypass or a flow adjustment. Have you by them hooked up and tested yet?
I'm not a professional hydro mechanic but I do know that a flow check valve is important as it only allows the fluid to flow in one direction.
