Wood boat insurance

Post by elhewman »

Does anybody mind telling me what insurance rates I can expect to pay for a wood boat? I am looking at well kept boats from 40-50 feet and have virtually no experience owning or operating boats that size. I am speaking wood boats that would survey well. Also, if you don't mind what would you expect me to pay with a fiberglass boat that size? I am just trying to calculate the difference.

Thanks in advance.

Can somebody please send me that information also? Thanks. My quote was over 5k for a 36' fiberglass boat, with no prior claims.
