Thought I'd be able to announce a sequel to that trolling novel "West of Spencer" by now, having been busy trying to drive the main character Bo to new levels of madness...but another book got in the way. Worth reading as a cautionary tale if you ever think about quitting fishing and trying something else---it's a collection of the weirder trips I've made in a fallback career as a delivery captain, moving boats around in various oceans. Mechanical systems doing their best to disintegrate, belligerent weather, spiraling crew relations that cry out for psychiatry---basically all the same stuff you get fishing, only on someone else's unfamiliar boat, often in the middle of nowhere.
Name is "Red Flags in Blue Water". It's orderable from any bookstore and available both formats, digital and hard copy, from Amazon:

Reviews are good...but maybe it's time for a one-star pan, to make things more interesting? Post an honest one!
