Well, we are almost ready to go. Got the boat 5 weeks ago, and have been hard at it getting things straightened out. Trolling poles extended, stays go up on Wed, added electronics to the cockpit, raised the cockpit combing, a little paint work, cleaned up the engine room, and a whole bunch more. Our season in WA starts May 1, so just a few more days till we start. When I get time I'll post some pics (hopefully with fish) and let you know how she's done. The boat had been through 3 names already, so we decided to re-name her the ROSE-MARIE after my 2 daughters. They'll be fishing with us this summer as well, and they usually catch the bit ones. Thanks again to everyone for your replies (esp Salty) and encouragement. It will be a fun adventure.
Latitudes, F/V ROSE-MARIE

Re: All Most Ready!
What is going on with the 8000 some quota on the north end. Is that to save more fish for the killer whales?
