First HT Fun

Post by Brother Dave »

I've had an HT permit for some time but never made time to go out and fish it. This summer I found myself with some free time and a new boat, so decided to give it a try. I'm fortunate to have a few friends around for advice and a brother and friend for crew. I've a lot to learn still but nothing beats a bit of hands-on.

A few pics from my first few days.

Looks like a great set up! I might consider something similar for myself. Looks like a great way to break into fishing. Simple is good.

I'm not really familiar with how things are done in AK. How heavy of a wieght are you using, and how many line do you run? Looks really clean
