Troll Scenery
Re: Troll Scenery
Here is one that Drew on the Mary Carl sent me. One of the few pictures I have of my boat fishing. It was September in Neets Bay, after they opened up Rockfish Cove. Thanks Drew!

Not to bore anyone with similar photos...but here Is another nice sunset shot of Cape Decision taken from the Sumner side..
Re: Troll Scenery
Hey, I do indeed know those guys pretty well. Looks like they were taken in the spring king Chatham fishery. My dad was a bit embarrassed by the shaggy look his boat was getting. He had already put in five months of hardcore fishing by the time that picture was taken. It still looked very nice. I probably have the least photographic skills of anybody on here. Its good to see the beautiful pics more discerning eyes like yours take.

Re: Troll Scenery
If you reduce the file size to 480 pixels or so then it posts nicely on the forum. Picasa lets you do that easily in the export feature. I have a file "For Forum" that I export the pictures I want to post here to and then attach from that file.
Re: Troll Scenery
I did find this one of the your Uncle's boat Garret.

Re: Troll Scenery
I particularly like that one of the Aspasia, but the watercolor sketch affect is more attractive the longer I look at it. I have treated the definition of troll scenery pretty broadly, I know. About half of theses pictures are from wandering around in the forest on the days I anchored up. But I usually trolled right up to the bays, and probably fished in the afternoons, so I guess that I can make them count. Wandering around the mountains is a significant part of the troller lifestyle in Alaska, so I lump it together. They probably should go into a separate thread, but I really don't think it affects much.

Re: Troll Scenery
What was the date you took your picture. This was June 30 of this year. I wonder if it was the same eagle the same day.
Re: Troll Scenery
Nice shot Eric......I took that photo of Fuzzy's boat on June 28th @ about 1310....very possible, the same bird...

Huh, I have few more, but apparently my "board attachment quota has been reached". I guess that's what I get for hogging a spot!

Wow,
What is that, "board attachment quota". You would think I would have reached it.
