Call for Fisher-Artists!

Post by boatcat »

Hey friends -

The University of Oklahoma School of Art and Art History is planning an exhibit called FISH 2012: International Art Competition. The theme is "art related to the culture of fishing," and how you interpret that is entirely up to you. There's pretty impressive talent among our fleet, and who better to share their artistic commentary on this culture than those who've devoted their lives to it? The deadline is September 1, and all of the info is here - http://bit.ly/LcZzOv.
Thanks for sharing this opportunity with all of your creative friends and family.

Be safe out there, and good luck to all -

Thanks, Tele.
Stories, photos included?
How about a whole website, like the forum?

AKFisher, thanks SO much for mentioning the True North's site! (http://beelinessalmon.blogspot.com/) I didn't know about this blog - haven't had time to savor it yet, but am preemptively impressed with the storytelling, photos, and obvious time that's been devoted. A great recommendation; many thanks.
