Sitka: F/V Drill Conductor Course

Cost: $95 fee. (after $80 scholarship due to funding from DCEED, NIOSH, and members. Normal course fee: $175)

Craig: F/V Drill Conductor
When: Nov 14 – 15, 2013

Where: 100 School Rd. Craig, AK
Meets at Craig Middle School, Seals Class Room Thursday night, 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 7:30 P.M.

Description: Two-day Emergency Procedures and Onboard Drill Conductor Course to meet USCG requirements on fishing vessels. - USCG-accepted - Open to all mariners. - Recommended for captains and crew serving on any commercial vessel - Meets the training requirements for commercial fishermen operating on documented vessels beyond the 3 mile line.

Cost: Course fee waived for Craig high school students. All others: $95 (after an $80 scholarship)

Juneau, AK F/V Drill Conductor Course

Where: UAS TEC - University Of Alaska Southeast Technical Education Center, Room 212
1415 Harbor Way, Juneau

Description10-hour Emergency Procedures and Onboard Drill Conductor Course to meet USCG requirements on fishing vessels. USCG-approved • Open to all mariners. Recommended for captains and crew serving on any commercial vessel • Meets the training requirements for commercial fishermen operating on documented vessels beyond the Boundary Line

Course participants are asked to bring their immersion suits, if possible. Please bring a change of clothes in case your suit leaks.

Cost: $95 for commercial fishermen (after an $80 scholarship from DCCED and NIOSH). All others: $175
