Nice B9 or G9 Salty.....does the nose sleeve help it from sliding around and getting torn off?

A highliner showed me the nose sleeve trick years ago. Two big advantages and one minor disadvantage.

AD: 1. The hootchie stays in place on the hook so when you hang it up by the hook it is right there instead of down at the end.
2. The hootchie stays in place after a bite and the fish getting off so is in position for another bite.

Disadvantage: the hootchie is in place so after a bite and the fish gets off you can not spot the hootchie half way up the leader and tell where the bite was.

Also the sleeve costs about a nickel or dime.

Green works great here in southern OR, and Northern CA, really consistent. Blues do get bigger fish, at least for me...

Nice idea. I use a lot of orange and pink. They feed on shrimp a lot.
