Can anyone give me the name of someone that rebuilds Easthope 3 spool gurdies?

A lot depends upon where are you located. There are some reliable machinists in towns up here in SE Alaska who have experience working on Easthopes, and I know of a couple of different operations that rebuild gurdies down in Oregon.

Sedna on the Forum here sometimes deals in Easthopes in Sitka. There's also Union Machine Shop in Ketchikan. and Mark Wumkes in Juneau at 907-957-0095 not only rebuilds them but re-engineers them better than new (for instance: stainless shafts with 7/8 hex-heads on the end, in case of needing to hand-crank or put new-wire spools on the end for easier spooling like Salty was describing on another thread)
